Currie Undergraduate Scholarships are given to students who start a degree program other than engineering after graduating from high school in any of the four Atlantic Provinces. The scholarships are intended to help future leaders further their education.

Eligibility for Scholarship

  • The applicant must be a Canadian citizen.
  • Should have applied for an Undergraduate course and received a University admission.
  • The Currie Undergraduate Scholarships consist of four prizes, one given each year. The entire amount of the scholarship is $65,000. The winning candidate receives a $20,000 prize in Year 1, a $20,000 award in Year 2, a $15,000 award in Year 3, and a $10,000 reward in Year 4.

Lyons Memorial Travel Scholarship

Created in 1994 as a tangible memorial to the life and contribution of Anne Lyons (nee Byrne), a scholar, wife, and teacher who died of cancer in 1987 at the age of 42 and whose passion dominated the study and research of justice society in Australia.
