Scholarship details
This large amount is awarded based on the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Physician Training Program, to ensure permanent support for first and second year applicants. This fellowship scholarship is meant to help applicants to achieve the program training while allowing students to succeed and further their training career.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Applicants can be non-U.S. citizens (must have a visa or student visa) or a U.S. citizen.
- Applicants do need to have 3 years completed training that involves and is approved pediatric and/or internal medicine program by the time the fellowship begins.
- International applicants must be certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) and be able to fulfill the eligibility requirements of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) for entry into an accredited fellowship.

There are rules to follow such as use the font Times New Roman 12 and margins should be no less than half an inch on each side.

For first and second years official signup, follow these rules:
Applicants need to enter the title of the project, enter the project start and end dates, select the number of periods being requested, and complete any additional questions. Also, all applicants should complete the organizational assurances indications (i.e. IRB, IACUC, and/or IBC/rDNA approval letter and status at the time of submitting the application) in this section.
Applicants need to have all references read to submit in with the application.
Reward
A total of $62,000 for both 1st and 2nd years of university.
Deadline & Annual
The official deadline is March 3, 2022. There are fellowship scholarships available for 3rd/4th year and graduates that cover full tuition. This is an annual scholarship that can be applied to, just apply to the year you are going into.
