Scholarship details
This graduate scholarship and fellowship is open to female Canadian students undertaking major research in the life sciences anywhere in the world.
L’Oréal UK and Ireland participates in the international and national UNESCO For Women In Science programs and supports youth science education through the L’Oréal Young Scientist Center at the Royal Institution. Some 30,000 young people have taken part in the program since 2009.
Eligibility & Requirements
- All applicants must be female to apply.
- Candidates must have completed their PhD and have started in their postdoctoral research position by the application deadline.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to apply.
- The fellowship is open to post–docs from the United States and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
How to Apply

Reward
The applicant chosen will be awarded $60,000 for research in a STEM field.
