The Lemelson-MIT Prize is offered to notable mid-career inventors, who’ve developed a patented product or technique of considerable cost to society, which has been followed for practical use or has an excessive probability of being adopted.
The $500,000 Lemelson-MIT Prize acknowledges people who translate their thoughts into innovations that improve the sector in which we stay.
The Lemelson-MIT Prize seeks to focus on the pivotal function creative activity that performs in the success of tremendous social, cultural and economic desires.
The students must be a US citizen, a bachelor’s degree, nominated for the 2018 500,000$ US Dollar Lemelson-MIT, a primary inventor of a US patent more than two or more, an inspiration to young generations by their creativity, activities or any outreach programs.
A screening advisory group made out of MIT workforce and MIT graduated class survey the designations and select finalists. A national jury of specialists in science, designing, medication, innovation, and business that will choose a winner from the finalist pool. The successful students should then be endorsed by the screening board of trustees.
The deadline for this prestigious scholarship is until the 30th of November 2017. Students must submit all the necessary document needed.
