While all tuition is covered their main focus is the applicant and their ability to progress with a high education and the proper training.

 

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Up to three fellows will be selected to conduct their own research under the guidance of ETS staff in Princeton, New Jersey, in one of the following areas: psychology; education; teaching; learning; literacy; psychometrics; statistics; computer science; linguistics; educational technology; minority issues; policy research; testing issues, including alternate forms of assessment for special populations; testing issues associated with new forms of assessment; or policy research.
  • The program is open to any individual who holds a doctorate in a relevant discipline and provides evidence of prior research.

How to Apply

Goals of this program are to provide research opportunities to individuals who hold a doctorate in the fields indicated above and to increase the number of women and minority professionals in educational measurement and related fields.

The main criteria for selection will be scholarship and appropriateness of the proposed work for ETS. Affirmative action goals will also be considered in the selection process.

There is no formal application form. Prior to applying, please call for a Research Division description. All applicants have to call the number to receive a scholarship application beforehand, there are none online and they do not have an online scholarship submission portal.

Reward

As a reward, duration is for up to two years, renewal after first year by mutual agreement. $50,000 stipend and limited relocation expenses, consistent with ETS guidelines, will be reimbursed.

Four awards are handed out to selected students each submission time.

Deadline & Annual

February 1, 2022 is the deadline. This is an annual scholarship.
