About the Scholarship:

University of Lincoln’s first building on the Brayford Pool Campus was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II, attracting more than 90,000 students from more than 135 nations. At number 150 in the world, Lincoln is ranked by the Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings 2020. In addition, Lincoln was selected the “Modern University of the Year” in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021. A five-star overall QS Stars rating and Gold in the national Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) 2017, the highest level possible, are only two examples of the University of Lincoln’s reputation for creative teaching. There are few academic experiences that can compare to that of studying in an ancient city such as ancient Lincoln, which has been inhabited since the third millennium BCE. It’s not just the 1072-year-old Lincoln Cathedral, which was once the world’s tallest building, that makes up the city of Lincoln’s rich architectural heritage. For nearly a millennium, Lincoln Castle has stood vigil over the city’s skyline.

The University of Lincoln aims to help students prepare for their future jobs by providing a wide range of opportunities to interact with business and obtain career-ready skills. Students benefit from a wide range of opportunities for work experience and networking as a consequence of creative partnerships with other companies. We at the University of Lincoln give you many opportunities to develop the skills and qualities that companies are increasingly looking for in new workers today. As an example, students in several of our undergraduate and graduate taught programs are able to apply to engage in a work placement or project in the business sector. In addition, you may have the option to take part in field trips and hear from guest lecturers. Most of the University of Lincoln’s student housing is located near or on the Brayford Pool Campus. Student Village, the University’s on-campus accommodation, consists of Lincoln Courts and Cygnet Wharf, two waterfront buildings.

The University also manages other off-campus housing options, like as residence halls and co-ops, for new and continuing students. Lincoln was named one of Britain’s top 20 cities by The Telegraph in 2017, and it’s not hard to understand why. People go to the metropolis for a variety of reasons. Lincoln was once again named the friendliest city in the United Kingdom in 2016 by the Eden Project’s Big Lunch and Lincoln residents. One of the most cost-effective student cities in the United Kingdom, according to the 2020 edition of The Times Good University Guide, is Lincoln

There are many Lincolnshire residents whose contributions to history are much beyond the county’s borders. Sir Isaac Newton, a physicist and mathematician, was born in 1642 at Woolsthorpe-by-Colsterworth, a village in Lincolnshire. Both Margaret Thatcher and Alfred Tennyson were born in Lincolnshire, the county that gave birth to the UK’s first female prime minister. Lincoln has been utilized in numerous period series and films, including Downton Abbey and The Da Vinci Code. All of this is just a short drive away from the unique history and beauty of the Lincolnshire Wolds and British coastal resorts Cleethorpes and Skegness.

This world-famous city, Lincoln, perfectly combines antique and modern elements. Lincoln’s Cathedral Quarter and the city’s vibrant core make for an ideal location for both residence and study. Located on the University of Lincoln’s Brayford Pool shoreline, Lincoln’s Roman and Medieval history blends seamlessly with the city’s contemporary day activities. It is a great honor for us to have gained national recognition as an award-winning benefits provider. You’ll get a generous amount of yearly leave, a competitive salary, a workplace pension plan, and an outstanding learning and development program, all of which are designed to help you advance your career. Lincoln has a low crime rate and a wide variety of leisure options. Here, you’ll find a wide variety of venues to dine, drink, shop, and watch movies, as well as an active events calendar that runs all year long. The average price of a terraced property in Lincoln is 79% cheaper than that in London (Zoopla, October 2019). On average, a terraced property in Lincoln costs £149,918. A London terraced house costs, on average, £711,355.
