Scholarship details
If a student is a paying member of Kappa Gamma Pi, they are in luck. This scholarships is awarded to an exceptional KGP applicant every year as of 1985, the application requires several essays illustrating the applicant’s values, experiences, financial need, and involvement in the community.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Must be a current KGP paying member and accepted into graduate program.
- Each applicant must list all academic honors, awards and, dates with a brief description.
How to Apply
For the application applicants will need to login to KGP Engage to download the application.
All applicants must submit a copy of an official letter of acceptance from the graduate or professional school. Applicants must submit two signed Letters of Recommendation on official letterhead from individuals who can write about how the student’s life reflects the KGP motto of Faith and Service. This may include comments on volunteer work, leadership experience, and/or personal goals.
Reward
Two recipients will receive $5000.00 each to be applied as needed for
graduate expenses at any accredited college or university. This is a
non-renewable grant.
This reward typically handles all tuition fees.
Deadline & Annual
The deadline is April 20, 2021 but the next will be April 20, 2022. This is an annual scholarship that has a deadline in April of every year.
