Scholarship details
The Banatao Family Filipino American Education Fund will grant five scholarship of $5,000 US Dollar to qualified approaching first-year recruits selected at four-year schools or colleges. Every scholarship is renewable for a sum of four years based on attractive scholastic performances in a full-time undergrad program. This program is for undergrad students only
Qualification Criteria:
- Incoming first-year enlisted full-time at a licensed four year-school or college in the forthcoming scholarly year
- Pursuing a career in the fields of engineering, physical, PC or ecological sciences (barring medicinal services or health care professions, for example, doctor, nurse, drug specialist or a pharmacist, dental practitioner, and so forth.)
- Filipino legacy (no less than half)
- 3.0 minimum GPA
- Financial need
- Students should be a residence in the Northern California provinces of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Merced, Monterey, Napa, Sacramento, San Benito, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, Sonoma or Stanislaus – OR – the Southern California regions of Los Angeles, Orange or San Diego
Students must have a good communication, oral and written in English.
The deadline for application is until February 24, 2018.
