The Business Faculty Emeritus Memorial Scholarship was established in honor of deceased School of Business Faculty members.
Description
The Carey School of Business offers this $500 scholarship to students who need to pay off a bit of tuition and tuition fees. But only if the students actually choose to attend this exact university school.
Eligibility
- An applicants GPA must stay above 3.0
- This scholarship is only available to students who live in Arizona
- Only U.S. citizens or citizens that live in Arizona state
- This is not a need-based scholarship
- Transfer students can apply for this scholarship as long as the apply for the university in Tempe, Arizona
- Applicants must attend the W.P. Carey School of Business to apply for this scholarship
Requirements
In addition to the application, students must UPLOAD a 300-word Ethical Image Essay. The topic of the essay should address what an applicant believes they can do as a businessperson to improve the ethical image of business today.
The essay will be judged on its content and on the quality of the writing. (Typed and double-spaced). Upload the essay under the Additional Documentation section in the application.
How to Apply
The only way to apply for this scholarship is to be either recently enrolled, attending (because sophomore’s, juniors, and senior college students can apply if they already attend the W.P. Carey School of Business) or have received a letter of acceptance to the school.
Afterward, students can call or email the contact information asking for an application for this scholarship of $500.
Then each student will need to fill out as much information that needs to be, have their transcripts ready, photo copies and letters of recommendation accessible to be viewed.
A panel of judges will check to see what student fits the criteria completely and will be awarded for their tremendous leadership and business skills.
Reward
The reward is for $500 that goes directly towards the students school bank account to pay for tuition and other fees.
Deadline
The deadline is September 22, 2021 as of 2021, but for 2022 the deadline will be September 1, 2022. Since the 2021 deadline year has passed, that means no one can apply for the 2022, they must apply for the 2023 year.
Annual
This is an annual scholarship that is directly linked to the W.P. Carey School of Business. The deadline may change from time to time but it will always be in sometime of the month of September.
