Scholarship details
Candidates are permitted to submit applications for a number of different scholarships; but, even if they are awarded more than one scholarship, they are restricted to accepting just one scholarship grant. There is no way to accumulate or combine multiple scholarships or bursaries. The more qualified candidates will receive the larger reward. Candidates are not permitted to transfer or use one scholarship or bursary against another program, nor can they use it to pay for another program. The student is only eligible to receive the scholarship or bursary for the academic year in which they have been allocated a seat at UCD Smurfit.
Scholarships and bursaries cannot be carried over to a subsequent academic year under any circumstances. If a student ultimately chooses to defer their offer, they will be disqualified from receiving their scholarship or bursary and will be needed to submit a new application at a later date. Candidates who are already in possession of a SUSI grant will be disqualified from receiving a scholarship of any kind.
The UCD Smurfit School Scholarships are not applicable to courses offered through UCD Smurfit Executive Development, the UCD Belfield campus, or any programs that are run in conjunction with UCD Belfield. These programs include the Master of Science degrees in Biotechnology and Business, Biotherapeutics and Business, and International Law and Business.

- Those individuals who are awarded the Indian Academic Excellence Scholarship will be granted a scholarship equal to fifty percent of the total cost of tuition for one academic year.
