The Auckland University of Technology (AUT) is pleased to announce the availability of accommodation scholarships for first-year international students who are either new to AUT or new to the program they are enrolled in during the 2023 academic year. These students are on their way to becoming successful graduates of AUT. The scholarship ensures that the recipient will have a place to live at the Te Huru Mayoral Drive Student Accommodation, which is situated in the middle of the city of Auckland, only a minute’s walk away from the AUT City Campus, and which provides quality, modern, single studio-style living.

Auckland Institution of Technology is a publicly accessible institution of higher learning and research in New Zealand (often abbreviated as AUT). It officially began in 2000. Originally created in 1895 as Auckland Technical School, the school later changed its name to its current moniker. When Auckland Technical College decided to add afternoon classes, it realized it would be preferable to rebrand the school as a different institution to better represent the shift in focus. Changing the school’s moniker to better represent its evolving role as a research university occurred in the year 2000.
It is affiliated not only with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the Consejo Latinoamericano de Escuelas de Administracion, but also with the Association of Asia Pacific Business Schools (AAPBS) (CLAEA). As an added bonus, it is a member of the AACSB International, which stands for the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (CLADEA). This article provides a quick overview of some of AUT’s many previous and present partners, including large and small firms including NASA, Air New Zealand, Spark, and Orion Health, as well as other organizations that include AUT as a partner. The university has three different campuses: the City Campus in the heart of Auckland’s CBD, the North Campus in Northcote, and the Manukau Campus in Manukau (South Campus). There are also student assistance centers available to students. A number of student assistance centers are located on the premises as well. All areas of campus are equipped with unrestricted, free Wi-Fi, so students can stay connected no matter where they are.

The applicants who are successful in obtaining one of the 250 AUT International Student Accommodation Scholarships in New Zealand 2023 will receive a rent rebate from Auckland University of Technology equal to fifty percent of their monthly rent.
