The DeepMind Scholarship is generously funded by the DeepMind that is currently open for application for both local and international students who holds a conditional or unconditional offer for the MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.

Studying in the United Kingdom will give every student an opportunity in terms of their education and career goals. The University of Birmingham is one of the universities in the United Kingdom that is committed to extending more opportunities to both local and international students by providing a variety of scholarships to build and create more leaders in the future.

DeepMind Scholarship

With the support of DeepMind, the scholarship will be generously provided to the outstanding students who will be commencing their postgraduate degree in MSc Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the Department of Computer Science.

Intelligence allows us to learn, design, collaborate, create, communicate, and so on. Thanks to a better understanding of various aspects of intelligence, we can use this knowledge as inspiration to build new computer systems that will learn to find and solve difficult problems.

DeepMind was started in the year 2010, with less far interest in the field of AI technology than there is in today’s world. To facilitate this field, they have chosen an interdisciplinary approach, combining new ideas and advances in machine learning, neuroscience, engineering, mathematics, simulation, and computer infrastructure, together with a new way of organizing scientific endeavors.

For the young generation today who want to achieve their education and career goals in Computer Science, DeepMind will be supporting the University of Birmingham to support and fund the education of outstanding local and international students.

MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the University of Birmingham

In this program, students will learn about the basic principles of AI and ML and how machines perceive, explore and understand the world around us. The students will expand their knowledge of the real issues and apply them to a large individual project in collaboration with one of our leading researchers in the world, many of whom work closely with the Alan Turing Institute, the UK’s national institute for AI and Data Science, of which The University of Birmingham is one of the members.

The students will learn what can and cannot be done in today’s generation of artificial intelligence, current challenges, and social and ethical considerations so that they can make informed decisions about how to use artificial intelligence techniques in the real world.

Why start your Artificial Intelligence Masters Degree at the University of Birmingham?

  • Birmingham is one of the leading national universities for postgraduate computer science studies and is proud to be able to provide exceptional programs that offer a range of career opportunities for local and international students.
  • A state-of-the-art facility and a multi-million facilities that include a dedicated laboratory for the ComSci Students, a laboratory for robotics, a research lab, Computer vision, and Intelligent Robotics.
  • Partnered with the Alan Turing Institute and the United Kingdom’s National Institute for the Artificial Intelligent and Data Science.

Over the last ten years, they have made remarkable advances in artificial intelligence and machine learning that promise to change the way we interpret and use data. These advances have found their way into our daily lives in areas that include automatic language translation, language and generation recognition, referral systems, facial recognition, and other applications we may not know about.

It also allows us to think about the nature of intelligence from different angles, understand how people perform tasks, and improve and support our skills in areas such as medical diagnostics, where artificial intelligence techniques are beginning to be utilized in many medical to filter datasets that provide physicians with new insights that they may be able to use to inform a treatment plan and diagnosis.
