In order to do research in the field of adversarial machine learning and its applications to communication systems, Flinders University is looking for an exceptional candidate to fill the role of researcher. The purpose of this research project is to investigate and analyze hostile assaults made against AI-enabled wireless communication systems.
An AI-enabled radio that is fully trainable can detect the operational environment and develop a secure, high-throughput, and resilient tactical waveform on its own to support mission-critical communications. As part of the research project, adversarial attacks will be analyzed, and lessons will be drawn from them in order to develop AI strategies that are both robust and reliable for use in the construction of wireless communication systems. Flinders University in Adelaide will serve as the project’s home base and financing is now available for it.

- A Reduction in the Cost of the Research Training Program This scholarship covers the cost of tuition for citizens of Australia and New Zealand, as well as permanent residents.
Eligibility for Scholarship.
- A student must fulfill all of the following requirements in order to be considered for the awarding of this scholarship:
- Be an Australian citizen or a citizen of New Zealand; or have been given permanent residence status; and meet the prerequisites for admission to the PhD program; and be available to begin studying for the PhD full-time at Flinders University in the first semester of 2023.
