The Africa Scholarship offered by the University of Lincoln is intended to provide financial assistance to students from various countries in Africa so that they can pursue postgraduate studies at the University of Lincoln. The Africa Scholarship is a tuition fee concession that can be applied against the cost of a postgraduate taught program that will begin in the academic year 2023-2024.

About the Scholarship Provider:

More than 90,000 students from over 135 countries are expected to enroll at the University of Lincoln after the Queen officially opened the first building on the Brayford Pool Campus. Lincoln University is recognized as one of the top 150 universities in the world by The Times Higher Education’s (THE) Young University Rankings 2020. (Citation required) Not only that, but Lincoln was named “Modern University of the Year” by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021. The University of Lincoln has earned a stellar reputation for its cutting-edge pedagogy and dedication to its students. In 2020, it received the maximum possible rating of five stars from QS Stars, and in 2017, it received gold from the national Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). Lincoln, a city with a history dating back to 300 B.C., offers one of the best educational prospects in all of Europe. The Lincoln Cathedral, constructed in 1072 and briefly the world’s tallest edifice, is only one of many ancient buildings and attractions in Lincoln.

The city is also home to Lincoln Castle, which has watched over the area for over a thousand years. The University of Lincoln is dedicated to helping its students acquire the skills and information they’ll need to be successful in their chosen careers, and it does so by providing numerous opportunities for students to interact with professionals in the field and get practical experience. Because of the institution’s special relationships with so many different groups, students can participate in a wide range of internships, volunteer opportunities, and networking events that will help them develop their careers. Here at the University of Lincoln, we provide a wide range of courses and other educational resources to help you acquire the knowledge and character traits that employers are increasingly seeking in today’s workforce. To give one example, we offer job placement and project applications to students enrolled in particular undergraduate and graduate teaching programs that are focused on the business world. If you’re interested, you can also attend lectures given by guest speakers and embark on educational field trips. The bulk of Lincoln University’s student residence halls are either on the Brayford Pool Campus or are conveniently located nearby. The Student Village includes two waterfront complexes, Lincoln Courts and Cygnet Wharf, which are home to University students. For both incoming and current students, the University oversees a number of off-campus housing alternatives, such as residence halls and co-ops. A variety of suitable dwellings can be found nearby. Lincoln’s inclusion on The Telegraph’s list of the best 20 British cities to visit in 2017 is not hard to fathom. The city is a great place to live, study, and work. In 2016, Lincoln locals and visitors to the Eden Project’s Big Lunch voted their city the friendliest in the United Kingdom.

According to the Times Good University Guide 2020, Lincoln is one of the UK cities that provides the most bang for the buck for college students. Lincolnshire residents may be unfamiliar to you, but their impact on history extends far beyond the county’s borders. In the English village of Woolsthorpe-by-Colsterworth in the year 1642 was born Sir Isaac Newton, a notable figure in the fields of physics and mathematics. The poet Alfred Tennyson and the first female Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Margaret Thatcher, both call the English county of Lincolnshire home. Lincoln has been featured in several historical shows and films, including Downton Abbey and The Da Vinci Code, thanks to its rich history that spans over two millennia. The Lincolnshire Wolds, the British seaside resorts of Cleethorpes and Skegness, and the Lincolnshire sausage are all within easy driving distance of the county’s unique history and topography. Lincoln, widely regarded as one of the world’s most historically significant cities, features a stunning blend of old buildings and cutting-edge structures. Lincoln’s Cathedral Quarter, with its rich history, is ideally located in the city’s lively downtown, making it a great place to live and study. Lincoln’s Roman and medieval past and present mingle effortlessly on the Brayford Pool beach, which is also the main campus of the University of Lincoln.

It’s a privilege to be recognized as a top benefits provider on a national level and granted these prestigious accolades. We offer a market-competitive salary, a pension plan, and a fantastic learning development program to help you grow professionally and advance in your career, in addition to substantial annual leave (plus six additional days around Christmas and Easter). Lincoln has a very low crime rate and plenty of exciting activities available to its citizens. This area features a lively events calendar that is regularly updated throughout the year, in addition to a wide variety of places to buy, eat, drink, and watch a movie. Lincoln’s average terrace home price is 79% less than that of London’s (Zoopla, October 2019). A three-story home in Lincoln costs an average of 149,918 pounds. The average price per square foot for a London terraced house is £711,355.
