Scholarship details
Established in 2002 through a legacy gift from the Tarshis sisters to provide tuition assistance to Jewish students for higher education at accredited colleges, universities, and graduate schools. In the 2019/2020 academic year, this fund supported 13 students with scholarship ranging from $1,000 – $3,500. To be eligible for this one-year scholarship, the student must demonstrate both merit and financial need. Students may apply each year.

- We prefer that you attach files in a PDF format (.pdf). We will also accept files in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or Excel (.xls or .xlsx). Unacceptable formats include files with “.exe,” “.com,” “.vbs,” and “.bat” extensions.
- Can be male or female to receive this scholarship funding.
- Be sure to fill out everything that will be needed and have your transcripts ready.

This will take you to the list of grant opportunities currently accepting applications. f you can’t find an application here, its deadline may have already passed, or it might not have opened yet. Most of our applications appear online six weeks prior to the deadline.
Reward
Up to $3,500 is awarded to a student but also $1,000 can be awarded depending on the financial need.
