Our Faculty of Engineering is pleased to announce the availability of a number of scholarships for students who will be enrolling in postgraduate taught programs or postgraduate research programs during the academic year 2022/23. All foreign (non-EU), fee-paying offer holders who are self-funded and have outstanding academic qualifications are strongly invited to submit an application. Please note that in order for your scholarship application to be evaluated, you will first need to have received an offer to participate in a postgraduate taught degree program that will begin either in September 2022 or in January 2023. To be eligible for the postgraduate research program, your initial enrollment must take place during the academic year 2022–2023.
If you are interested in enrolling in a postgraduate taught degree program, you will be eligible for a scholarship grant that is equal to a 15 percent discount on your tuition fees, which will normally amount to £3,460*. If you are accepted into a postgraduate research degree program, you will be eligible to earn a scholarship grant that is equal to a 15 percent discount in your tuition fees for each year that you are enrolled in the program. Those interested in pursuing a postgraduate research degree may submit an application at any time during the year for the available scholarships. If you are enrolled in a Master of Science program that is two years long, you will only receive a scholarship for the first year of your program. Certain programs, such as those in Architecture and Biomedical Engineering, each have their own unique tuition rate, thus the total can change depending on whatever program you choose to enroll in.
