This scholarship is intended to provide financial assistance to a full-time doctoral student who will be beginning research in the design and synthesis of semiconductor-based photocatalysts for solar energy conversion to clean fuels and value-added chemicals in the materials engineering research group led by Professor Shizhang Qiao at the University of Adelaide.

The University of Adelaide is formally known as The Institution of Adelaide. Adelaide is the capital of South Australia and is located on the coast. Dr. Augustus Short, a former professor at Christ Church College and an alumnus of Oxford University, served as the university’s first vice-chancellor. Scholarship Offer:

The Gustafsson & Skrondal Visiting Scholarship is administered by the University of Oslo’s Centre for Educational Measurement (CEMO). As part of the visiting scholar program, CEMO and the University of Oslo host a number of young researchers from Norway and elsewhere each year.
Eligibility for Scholarship.
- Applicants must either be citizens of Australia or permanent residents of Australia; overseas students are not eligible to apply.
- Applicants must have earned either an Australian First Class Honours or an equivalent degree in order to be considered for admission to the PhD programme at the University of Adelaide.
- This student ought to have produced at least one paper in which they were the primary author.
- It is anticipated that the chosen applicant will begin their studies in Adelaide no later than October 1, 2023.

If a student enrolls in one of the degree programs offered by SOAS University of London, they may be eligible to receive a fee waiver award in the amount of £5,000. This award is available to students who are interested in receiving a degree from SOAS University of London.
