University Of La Verne 2023 Performance Scholarships For International Students (USA)

Only first-year, international, and students who have transferred into the university are eligible for scholarships (must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0). Applicants are not permitted to be enrolled in any University of La Verne classes prior to the fall semester of 2023.

Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis for up to four years of undergraduate study, and their continuation is contingent on the recipient maintaining satisfactory academic achievement and maintaining involvement in the relevant performance scholarship area. Along with submitting an application for this grant, students should also consider applying for financial aid from their state and the federal government.

About the Scholarship Provider:

A private institution of higher education, the University of La Verne may be found in La Verne, California. As Lordsburg College, the institution first welcomed students in the year 1891. College of Law, La Fetra College of Education, College of Business and Public Management, as well as a Regional Campus Administration that oversees 7 regional campuses make up the institution. Devorah Lieberman, who now holds the position of president, is in charge of the university. It delivers graduate and undergraduate degrees. The university offers students the opportunity to participate in particular programs through the use of online course work; nevertheless, very few of the university’s programs give students the option of attending their classes either on campus or online.

In 1970, the city of Ontario, in the state of California, became home to the University of La Verne College of Law. The American Bar Association granted the college accreditation in February 2006, paving the way for graduates of the institution to take the bar exam and become licensed to practice law in any of the 50 states or the District of Columbia. Approximately thirty percent of undergraduates of typical age participate in intercollegiate athletics on an annual basis. The participation in intercollegiate athletics is an essential component of a well-rounded university experience. There are a total of twenty intercollegiate athletic teams at this university, with ten designated specifically for female athletes and ten for male athletes.

The College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business and Management, the LaFetra College of Education, and the College of Law are the four colleges that comprise this educational institution known as the University. In addition to providing students with a selection of fifty different undergraduate majors, the College of Arts and Sciences is also well-known for its PhD degree program in clinical psychology.

In addition to its academic offerings, the University of La Verne is a participant in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, and around thirty percent of the undergraduate student body is involved in intercollegiate athletics. In addition, the University of La Verne competes in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with a total of 18 different teams.
