The PEO International Peace Scholarships is for the women in the US and in Canada. The program wants to provide this scholarship because the members of the PEO believes that the fundamental to the world of peace and understanding is the Education.
The scholarship is to pursue the Ph.D., a 12,500$ US Dollar maximum amount award, but this depends on student’s individual needs. The successful women students may take the scholarship either in the US or in Canada.
A Student must be capable for admission to full-time graduate study and be working near a graduate degree in any qualified college or university in the United States or Canada. A student who is a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or Canada is not qualified only for the student with residency for tax purposes only is acceptable.
Scholarships are not assumed for internships, online courses, research, or for practical training if not joint with coursework. In order to succeed for her first scholarship, a student needs to have a full year of coursework continuing, be admitted and in residence for the whole school year.
