Upper Conservatory of Music of the Liceu is a music school in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, generated in 1837 with the name Liceo Filo-dramático de Montesión. In year 1847 the Institution introduced the opera house Gran Teatre del Liceu. The Conservatory Foundation is proposing a Scholarships program for Master Studies in Opera Performance. This scholarship is intended with the objective of giving singers a chance to showcase their talents in the Opera Performance, also by giving them the right support to develop more their artistic skills to the highest level with the help of the Conservatory class.
This scholarship will be covering a full tuition of Master’s academic fees and can be taken in Spain in the field of Opera Performance.
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship students must be born on December 31, 1981, have obtained a Degree in Music, Just in case a selected student is being awarded a scholarship in the same studies, students must communicate to the Conservatory to be assessed, this award will be effective once the recipient already passed the Master’s entrance examination and has enrolled in the Liceu Conservatory Master’s program.
Spanish and International students are also eligible to apply, and there are no test requirements indeed.
Students are required to upload links to the following documentations Curriculum vitae, Motivation letter, DNI Copy or Passport for non-Spanish citizens, in case you have the Copy of the Bachelor’s Degree in Music Diploma o equivalent.
