The Gustafsson & Skrondal Visiting Scholarship is administered by the University of Oslo’s Centre for Educational Measurement (CEMO). As part of the visiting scholar program, CEMO and the University of Oslo host a number of young researchers from Norway and elsewhere each year.

 

Eligibility for Scholarship.

  • In order to qualify for this scholarship, you must first:
  • must be enrolled in a graduate program at the Faculty of Arts at the present time; must provide evidence of financial need; and must
  • aspire to participate in relevant studies and research while abroad.
  • Graduate students in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Melbourne are given priority, and attention is also given to the applicant’s financial situation.
  • There will be a few different awards given out. After taking into account the applicant’s proposed course of study, the applicant’s access to additional financial resources, and an estimate of the applicant’s travel and living expenditures, the value of the scholarship will be decided

If a student enrolls in one of the degree programs offered by SOAS University of London, they may be eligible to receive a fee waiver award in the amount of £5,000. This award is available to students who are interested in receiving a degree from SOAS University of London.

  • Applicants who meet the requirements must submit an online application that includes the following items:
  • specifics of your planned course of study in another country;
  • a statement ranging from 300 to 500 words in length detailing how you would put this scholarship to use and how it will help you in your academic pursuits;
  • a budget that is suggestive;
  • evidence that a Student Financial Assessment form was filled out and submitted by the University of Melbourne; at least one academic reference; a recent academic statement of results; and any additional information to support the application that may assist the committee in making its judgment.
