Scholarship details
We are pleased to announce that we will be awarding one scholarship in the amount of £20,000 to a student who has received an application to one of the Business School’s MSc programmes for enrolment in September 2023.
This will be given to a student who resides in the United Kingdom who is very brilliant and talented academically but who, without this financial aid, would not be able to pursue higher education. Applicants who hold offers to study for the MRes or PgDip programmes at Exeter, as well as the MBA programme, are ineligible for this grant.

Scholarship Offer:
- £20,000 awarded to students who have had an application accepted to one of the Master of Science in Business programmes offered by the Business School for entry in September 2023
- This fellowship was made possible by contributions made by Business School graduates in the past. You will be required to submit written updates on a semiannual basis in accordance with the financing agreement. These updates will first take the form of a written introduction that will be sent at the beginning of the programme. There is also the possibility of having a face-to-face meeting with the benefactor.
The Gustafsson & Skrondal Visiting Scholarship is administered by the University of Oslo’s Centre for Educational Measurement (CEMO). As part of the visiting scholar program, CEMO and the University of Oslo host a number of young researchers from Norway and elsewhere each year.
Eligibility for Scholarship.
- This will be given to a student who resides in the United Kingdom who is very brilliant and talented academically but who, without this financial aid, would not be able to pursue higher education. - The recipients of scholarships are chosen on the basis of their academic merit, taking into consideration the information provided in the application as well as the ability to demonstrate the following in their personal statement: academic ambition, future career ambitions, a genuine need for the scholarship and how this will support their ambitions, a sense of social responsibility, and a willingness to engage with the Exeter community.

The University of Exeter 2023-2024 Broad Reach Scholarship, UK is open to all International Students
If a student enrolls in one of the degree programs offered by SOAS University of London, they may be eligible to receive a fee waiver award in the amount of £5,000. This award is available to students who are interested in receiving a degree from SOAS University of London.

- Kindly submit your application by filling out this form. For the purpose of submitting your scholarship application, you will require your Exeter student number.
- You will be required to upload a covering letter, evidence of financial assistance received for your undergraduate studies (such as bursaries or scholarships, but not copies of bank statements), a curriculum vitae (CV), a transcript, and a personal statement of no more than 300 words that addresses the following questions:
- Why did you decide to enrol in the programme that you did, and what do you anticipate gaining from the experience?
- What are some of your goals for the future, and how do you think that your studies will help you reach those goals?
- What does it mean to you to be awarded the Scholarship, and how will your life change as a result of receiving it?
- In your capacity as a Scholar, how can you best represent the University in a professional setting?
