The University of New Mexico offers a scholarship for local and international students to commence their undergraduate degrees in the USA. Regent Scholarship offered by the university will give way to outstanding students for the academic year of 2021-2022. The scholarship program for the local and international students offers to fund amounting to up to $20,000 towards the student’s accommodation fee and tuition fee and will be renewable for 4 years and the students must maintain their GPA to 3.3 and no less than that to be able to sustain the scholarship.

The University of New Mexico offers a variety of scholarships that will suit both local and international students’ preferences. All scholarships will be offered annually, and over 71 million dollars will be awarded every academic year for thousands of deserving international and local students. To be qualified for the Regent Scholarship, the students must meet all the criteria given by the university.
The number of awards to be given for the scholarship will be intended for 12 deservings students. All interested students must sign in to the university’s application portal and must complete all the procedures required at the portal. Supporting documents must be submitted along with their application, students must be able to submit their financial responsibility form, all transcripts of academic records, official translations, and post-secondary reports. To be able to be admitted, students must have a minimum of 3.90 GPA and be able to submit an English proficiency test.
The deadline for the application is until December 1, 2021, and the scholarship will be offered annually by the University of New Mexico.
