International and domestic students can now apply for the Fully Funded Mathematics PhD Scholarship 2022. Swansea University’s Department of Mathematics is authorized to offer PhD-level programs under the terms of this award. The scholarship application deadline is on July 1st, 2022. For international and domestic candidates, Swansea University and the Welsh Government have teamed up to offer full-funded mathematics Ph.D. scholarships. Mathematical Modelling and Epidemiological Modelling are the primary goals of this scholarship. Only students with outstanding academic records will be considered for these awards.

 

About the Scholarship:

Swansea University, which will celebrate its centennial in 2020, is well regarded for the quality of its teaching and the contentment of its students. Scholarship Offer: 

A stipend of £15,609 a year is included in this scholarship, which covers all of the costs of UK tuition.

Eligibility for Scholarship.

  • In most cases, applicants must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a minimum overall grade of ‘Merit’ in order to apply (or Non-UK equivalent as defined by Swansea University). See – European Applicants 2019 and International Applicants 2019 for country-specific information.
  • English language requirements: if applicable, an overall IELTS score of 6.0 (with at least 5.5 in each individual component) or a recognized equivalent from Swansea University, if applicable. The English Language entrance policy for Swansea University can be found here.
  • This fellowship is exclusively available to students from the United Kingdom and the European Union due to funding limitations. The EU Transitional Bursary Scheme must be open to students from the EU.
