The University of Maine offers a limited number of undergraduate International Presidential Scholarships in recognition of outstanding academic performance valued at $15,000 per academic year.

Eligibility & Requirements
- Applicants do not need to submit their SAT scores.
- Applicants can be from any country to apply, as long as, they are entered to attend this university.
- The University of Maine is in the United States, international students will need a working student visa or duel citizenship to be able to attend the university.
- Students must keep a 3.0 GPA or above.
How to Apply
Applicants are considered for this scholarship when their application for admission is reviewed. No additional application is required.
Applications are reviewed holistically by the university staff and they are completed. For completion, they require a high school transcript, letter of recommendation, essay or writing sample and transcripts from any completed college work.
The award is not renewed automatically each year. Students must maintain full-time enrollment and a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 3.00 in order for the scholarship to be renewed.
This scholarship can not be combined with other scholarships that the university hands out.
Deadline & Annual
This is one of those scholarships that has no deadline. Students will only be entered to win the scholarship after they have sent in an application form to be accepted by the university to study for their field major.
