Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule (ETH) Offers Masters Scholarship Opportunities and Scholarships of Excellence (ESOP) and the ETH-D Scholarship, Various Areas, for successful international students .
Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule (ETH), Federal Polytechnic School of Zurich , is a pioneering public research university in Europe and around the world. Its campus is in the city of Zurich, where it is known simply as the ETH.
Package Offered:
The Excellence Scholarship offers a grant covering living and study expenses (CHF 12,000 per semester) as well as a tuition waiver.
The ETH-D scholarship offers a partial stipend for living and study expenses (7,500 CHF per semester), as well as a tuition waiver. In addition, the department will provide a scholarship of CHF 3,000 per semester or offer an assistantship (with a payment of CHF 500 – 600 per month).
Both scholarships are awarded for the regular duration of the master’s program (three or four semesters). This also applies to the waiver of the tuition fee.
Requirement(s):
- Applicants must be very successful in their bachelor’s degree (top 10% of bachelor’s program = A grade).
- Applicants should make sure to be available at the phone number specified on their CV, as the selection process could include a phone / VC interview in February.
- To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must enroll in a master’s program at ETH Zurich. Subsequently, they must complete and submit the scholarship application form and supporting documents, online, before December 15, 2020.
