If they aid you, Student Support will pick you up from the airport for free. They can help you anytime during the school year. Royal Holloway is in Egham, between Windsor and Heathrow, on 135 acres. Campus is 135 acres. The town has many shops, bars, and restaurants and can be reached on foot in minutes. The school is 30 minutes by train from central London, and Windsor is close by.

Scholarship Offer:

MA Medieval Studies students are eligible for a reduction in tuition fees as well as a contribution toward their living expenses of up to the value of £12,000.

 

The Gustafsson & Skrondal Visiting Scholarship is administered by the University of Oslo’s Centre for Educational Measurement (CEMO). As part of the visiting scholar program, CEMO and the University of Oslo host a number of young researchers from Norway and elsewhere each year.

 

Eligibility for Scholarship.

  • In-country or out-of-country charge standing
  • possessed or be expected to possess a degree with a 2:1 or better grade point average
  • Make a proposal to pursue a Master of Arts in Medieval Studies at Royal Holloway. 
  • You are required to provide a supporting assertion that is no more than 500 words long and should include the following elements: 
  • academic accomplishments that you are especially proud of, why you have chosen to do the degree for which you have applied, how you plan to use this MA in your future research and professional path, and how the scholarship will help you achieve your goals.
  • Your argument will be evaluated based on how successfully and persuasively you respond to the questions listed above.
  • Applications that are received with a word count that is greater than the limit will be dismissed immediately.
  • In addition to your personal statement, you will be required to submit the most recent copy of your grades transcript from your undergraduate degree. Any application that is submitted without a transcript being transmitted to the application will be rejected.
  • You are required to have a certificate of academic reference in written form. (up to 200 words). An academic who has supported, instructed, or worked with you in the past is required to provide this recommendation for you. I would appreciate it if you could ask the academic to send their reference letter (on official headed paper) straight to [email protected] via email.
  • The application submission period will close on July 3rd, 2023. Beginning on July 24, 2023, we will get back to you with a response regarding the status of your application.

If a student enrolls in one of the degree programs offered by SOAS University of London, they may be eligible to receive a fee waiver award in the amount of £5,000. This award is available to students who are interested in receiving a degree from SOAS University of London.
