We are thrilled to share the news that students studying in Africa and India will have the opportunity to compete for one of seven scholarships for a total of £10,500 during the academic year 2023/2024.

These scholarships are made possible by the generosity of the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust, an organization whose mission is to provide educational options for students who, for a variety of reasons, might not be able to consider attending school in the United Kingdom.

About the Scholarship Provider:

The Birmingham and Midland Institute’s School of Metallurgy, which opened in 1875, marked the first step in the establishment of what is now known as Aston University. In addition to assisting in the development of the best institution in the UK in terms of research and business, the Institute educated students on the significance of receiving a scientific and technological education. In 1966, after Aston University had undergone significant expansion and development, Queen Elizabeth II bestowed upon the institution a royal charter. People who want to get jobs after they graduate from university should consider attending Aston University because it is one of the best universities in the UK in this regard. Its purpose is to provide each and every student with a genuine educational experience.

Over the course of the last few decades, the University has established itself as the preeminent educational institution in the United Kingdom by virtue of the quality of its research and other programs. Aston University is ranked as the 22nd top university in the United Kingdom by the Guardian University Guide for the year 2023. This rank has been climbing consistently higher throughout the course of the past few years. Aston University was ranked 717th on the list of the top universities in the world by US News, however it is between 561 and 570th on the list of best institutions in the world by QS World University Ranking 2023.
