Scholarship details
In 2016, we began our scholarship program with the goal of increasing our members’ access to higher education. Since then, we have awarded $350,000 in scholarship funding to support our members on their academic journeys. Scholarship recipients have launched professional careers in a variety of areas including health care, public policy, technology, the arts, and more. At LCCU, we take great pride in empowering our members to achieve their dreams and give back to their communities.
Every time a member swipes his/her debit card, LCCU donates to its scholarship fund. The more our members use their debit cards, the more the fund grows! Additionally, our Employees Giving Back campaign makes a contribution to the Scholarship Fund each year.
Eligibility & Requirements
- GPA 2.50 or higher.
- Applicant must be a member of LCCU pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree at any technical college or university in the US.
- A college acceptance letter is needed.
- Every student will need to hand over their transcript.
- Two recommendation letters will be asked from each applicant.
- Demonstrate leadership.

Reward from Scholarship
Students can receive up to $100,000 in scholarship funding.
Deadline
Everything must be submitted together by May 14th, 2021. This is the official cut off day to submit applications.
