Scholarships for the Master of Pharmaceutical Industry Practice are now available for overseas students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement.

 

About the Scholarship:

Endowment funds established by retired ophthalmologists Drs. Mary Calthorpe and George Wong are intended to aid in the funding of medical school scholarships for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. For the purpose of increasing the number of indigenous doctors in indigenous areas, the Calthorpe Wong Indigenous Medical Scholarship was founded in 2010.

  • CV/resume
  • a letter of recommendation from either the teaching faculty at your university or from an employer (the academic reference letter should rank your academic performance against your peer group)
  • personal/motivational statement. This statement shouldn’t be any longer than a thousand words and should address the following topics:
  • what sparked your interest in pursuing a Master of Pharmaceutical Industry Practice degree at the University of Queensland?
  • your individual objectives and aspirations in life.
  • If your application has not been reviewed by the time the scholarship application deadline has passed, we are sorry to say that we will not be able to take your scholarship application into consideration.
