Students pursuing an international master’s degree through coursework at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Sydney are eligible to apply for a postgraduate scholarship worth $10,000 from the university. The award is available to any student who meets the eligibility requirements and has received an unconditional offer of admission by the deadline.

The Master by Coursework Scholarship program was developed by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Sydney to provide financial assistance to incoming international postgraduate students who will be completing their master’s degrees by coursework.

Scholarship Offer:

  • A grantee who is enrolled full-time is eligible to earn the scholarship, which has a value of $10,000 per year for a maximum of one academic year.
  • A scholarship with a value of $5,000 per year will be awarded to a winner who is enrolled part-time and who is approved to hold the scholarship on a part-time basis for a maximum of two years.

 

The Gustafsson & Skrondal Visiting Scholarship is administered by the University of Oslo’s Centre for Educational Measurement (CEMO). As part of the visiting scholar program, CEMO and the University of Oslo host a number of young researchers from Norway and elsewhere each year.

 

Eligibility for Scholarship.

  • You must:
  • be an international student at the time of application and receive an unconditional offer of admission to study full-time in a coursework program in order to be eligible for this scholarship. Master’s degree that is registered with CRICOS and is offered by the University of Sydney’s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
  • Note: In order to be eligible for this scholarship, students who are beginning their second degree at the University of Sydney must demonstrate that they have not previously been awarded this particular award. Students who apply to our school using credit that they have earned at one of our partner schools may be considered for admission if their total credit does not exceed 24 credit points.

If a student enrolls in one of the degree programs offered by SOAS University of London, they may be eligible to receive a fee waiver award in the amount of £5,000. This award is available to students who are interested in receiving a degree from SOAS University of London.

  • There is no need to submit an application in order to be considered for this scholarship; all qualified students who have received an unconditional offer of admission by the deadlines listed below will be considered automatically:
