Three campuses of the University of Queensland, in Southeast Australia, are placed quite close to one another. The University of Queensland has campuses in both St. Lucia and Herston, and both are conveniently located near Brisbane. It is currently widely accepted that more than two million people permanently reside in Brisbane. It has a subtropical temperature, a flourishing cultural scene, and a low crime rate, making it an ideal vacation destination. Because of its closeness to multiple natural World Heritage sites, including rainforests, mountain ranges, and beaches, Brisbane, Australia has become a major commercial, cultural, and educational hub for the Asia-Pacific area.

The University of Queensland has produced an estimated 268,000 graduates, including 14,500 Ph.D.s. Both current and former students represent more than 170 different nations.
