Scholarship details
LC State provides access to a wide variety of institutional scholarships, out-of-state tuition scholarships/waivers, and outside funding opportunities. Scholarships are available for various majors, minority students, first-year freshmen, transfer and non-traditional students.
Founded in 1893 and located in Lewiston, Idaho, LC State’s warm and friendly campus provides a unique and safe learning environment, surrounded by the beauty of the LC Valley. While paying the lowest tuition among Idaho’s public four-year institutions, students choose from over 130 degrees and certificates including two- and four-year degrees in both academic and career and technical education fields. Eligibility
- Students must maintain a minimum 2.5-semester grade point average.
- Each applicant must enroll in 12 or more credits each semester.
- Each applicant must volunteer a minimum of 10 hours per semester.
- Only for applicants that are not already receiving a full out-of-state tuition scholarship.
Requirements
Beginning with the 2021-2022 LCSC Scholarship Application, students will complete and submit the application completely online. Use the links below to get started or learn more about the process.
If the applicant is a high school senior, that already has graduated from high school, or earned a GED and has attempted fewer than 14 transferable semester college credits, they should apply as a first-year student.
However, if the applicant has at least 14 transferable semester college credits and either graduated from high school or earned a GED, they should apply as a transfer student.
How to Apply
All applicants should use the provided e-mail to send in each application.
International students will need to pay a $50.00 application fee online by credit card or bank transfer. This fee is non-refundable.
Next, applicants will need to send a copy of a passport photo to [email protected].
Meet all of the English language proficiency requirements. Send proof of proficiency scores to [email protected].
Send all transcripts and records from secondary school level and above to [email protected].
Send all signed Certificate of Financial Responsibility and other documents with the accompanying bank statement copies to [email protected].
Reward
After one semester of enrollment at LCSC, the scholarship amount can increase, dependent upon a student’s cumulative GPA at the end of each semester.
Deadline
The application deadline is two weeks before the beginning of each semester. The Lewis-Clark State College is accepting applications for spring semester, which begins January 18, 2022.
Annual
This is an annual scholarship that can be won during each semester for an individual student. This scholarship can increase with value if the GPA score climbs higher for the accepted winner.
