Scholarship Offer:
- One scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be given out year for as long as funds is still available.
- After the census date of each semester, payment will be made in two installments as outlined below.
Eligibility for Scholarship.
- The recipient of the award is required to
- Be a female; and Be beginning the first year of one of the university’s Bachelor of Science programs; and Be ordinarily enrolled full time at Flinders University; and Be enrolled in both PHYS1101 and PHYS1102; and Have been admitted to the course on the basis of an ATAR; and
- Students attending school part-time who are dealing with extraordinary circumstances, such as a handicap, illness, or caregiving duties, may be eligible for financial aid in the form of scholarships. The annual value of the scholarship awarded to recipients who attend school part-time will be the same as the value awarded to recipients who attend school full-time.
- The scholarship will be provided based on the recipient’s academic performance (ATAR). In the event that multiple students have the same top ATAR score, the students’ performance in certain courses at school will be taken into consideration.
- The recipients of the scholarships will be chosen in accordance with the procedures that have been approved.
