Established in 1981, ANDEO is a non-profit organization that specializes in international homestay programs.

Language: 2 years by the time of travel
Teacher Recommendation: Yes
If the student has a strong desire to put their language skills into action and feel ready to dive into a different lifestyle and culture. There will not be a lot of time with other American students, depending on the country chosen.
Requirements
The Andeo Summer Abroad Scholarship is open to all students applying for one of Andeo’s individual homestay programs and ranges from $100-$1000. All that’s needed from each applicant is to have a language teacher nominate the student! Then fill out a short application.
Then, all that’s left to do is pack those bags for one of Andeo’s awesome locations, such as Germany, Japan, or Mexico! Andeo is perfect for the student who wants to go somewhere without breaking the bank, but doesn’t have a strong preference about the location or duration— all they have to do is live with a local family.
A homestay with a local host family who is looking forward to including students in their day-to-day life. Applicants will get the most out of an immersion program if they are engaged, curious, and open to all the family activities.
Comprehensive medical and accident insurance is included.
How to Apply
Andeo’s chooses their applicants thoroughly, each applicant will be asked to show the verified documents from their native country before being accepted.
Please apply for a Term Homestay if an applicant plans to attend a school provided.
At the end of each term, students may extend their homestay or move to other accommodations. They may also choose to leave their homestay at any time during the term.
Placement Fee: $415 for students starting September 2022 through July 2023
Cost per term: $235/week for September 2022 through August 2023
Dates: Plan to begin the homestay 1-4 days before the first day an applicant needs to be on campus & end a homestay 1-4 days after the last day of exams.

Reward
Anywhere from $100 to $1,000 is awarded to a student who is chosen.

This is an annual scholarship that is picking back up and open to students starting January 2022.
