The 100% scholarship (Leadership Scholarship) – ULACIT is committed to selecting students with a promising academic profile, with leadership traits, a vocation for service, and exceptional talents, offering them the possibility of pursuing their career of interest with a partial scholarship or complete.

– International students
For talented people from other countries in America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania, without residence in Costa Rica.
Additional requirements:
Present a copy of the passport and translations of any document that is attached to the file and that is not provided in Spanish or English.
The student must provide the certification of grades with the equivalence of the marks based on 100.
100% of the grades included in the certification are taken into account.

– Refugees
For talented people who have been forced to leave their country of origin or habitual residence due to persecution for reasons of their race, religion, nationality, belonging to a certain social group, political opinions, or gender. Applicants for this scholarship must attach a copy of the refugee card issued by the General Directorate of Migration and Immigration (DGME).
Additional requirements:
Present a copy of the passport and translations of any document that is attached to the file and that is not provided in Spanish or English.
The student must provide the certification of grades with the equivalence of the marks based on 100.
100% of the grades included in the certification are taken into account.

– People with disabilities
For talented people with some kind of physical disability or chronic illness.
Additional requirements:
Present a certificate of disability, indicating its nature and specific needs for educational support, if any.

– Human Rights Defenders
For talented individuals with proven experience in protecting civil and political rights; and in the promotion, protection, and enjoyment of the economic, social, and cultural rights of all people. It includes those who seek the protection of natural resources and the environment.

– Animal Advocates
For talented people with a track record in capturing and housing abandoned animals, as well as in their adoption and health. They must have verifiable experience in raising awareness in society about the protection and defense against animal abuse.

– Singers and musicians
For talented singers with singing or music studies, and extensive choral experience; and musicians with an important trajectory in marching bands.
Additional requirements:
Present evidence of your talents in a video of a maximum of one and a half minutes, demonstrating your artistic abilities. You must upload the video to your YouTube channel, with public settings and you must attach the link in your application letter.
You will be invited to audition, presenting a popular repertoire in Spanish and English.
Singers must bring an accompanying pianist to the audition, or perform the Cappella audition.
Musicians must bring their own instruments.
Students must sign the Artistic Contract Addendum.

– Dancers
For talented and experienced dancers, with a solid technique in urban dance.
Additional requirements:
Present evidence of your talents in a video of a maximum of one and a half minutes, demonstrating your artistic abilities. You must upload the video to your YouTube channel, with public settings and you must attach the link in your application letter.
You will be invited to audition; the student must bring their own clue.
Students must sign the Artistic Contract Addendum.

– Athletes
For talented athletes who have played in the first or second division, or in National Games in basketball, volleyball, or futsal. Applicants for this scholarship must pass a sports test, after making their application.
Additional requirements:
Participate in sports events.
Students must sign the Sports Contract Addendum and the Sports Uniform Receipt Agreement.
