FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship
About the scholarship
The FINCAD Women In Finance Scholarship was established by FINCAD with the aim of providing encouragement and support to high-achieving women in the finance sector who would like to undertake postgraduate studies. The scholarship is awarded annually and the host institutions are any accredited universities. The scholarship is open for graduate-level courses in Finance, with a focus on finance, especially relating to financial risk management and/or the utilization of derivatives in the capital markets. The scholarship is targeted at women of any nationality and age.
Scholarship worth
While the number of scholarships is not specified, the value of the scholarship is an endowment of US$20,000. Half of this amount will be automatically transferred to the academic institution to support tuition fees and the other half will be directly handed to the recipient.
Eligibility and criteria
Female citizens from all parts of the world are invited to submit applications for the scholarship. Applicants must be enrolled in a post-graduate degree at an institution accredited by the international or national body tasked with that function in the country where the institution is located. Applicants must also be enrolled and studying the course on a full-time basis in the 2021 – 2022 academic year.

Winnipeg President’s Scholarships for World Leaders
About the scholarship
The University of Winnipeg President’s Scholarship for World Leaders is given to foreign students enrolling for the first time in any of the Institution’s divisions. You are expected to demonstrate involvement in leadership activities and possess at least an 80% admission average or its equivalent. The host institution is the University of Winnipeg, Canada. Applicants can enroll in any level or field of study offered at the institution: ELP, PACE, Collegiate, Graduate, or Undergraduate.
Scholarship worth/inclusions
A total of 53 scholarships are going to be awarded. Each of these scholarships is worth an estimate of $5,000.
Eligibility and criteria
Applicants must qualify the following conditions:
- You should have at least 80% admission average or its equivalent
- Applicants must be international students
- Applicants should be enrolling in the first year of any course or degree
- Have outstanding leadership qualities
- Submission of a complete admission application must be on or before the date of the scholarship deadline
How to apply
All you have to do is complete and submit your application for admission – as well as the required documents – to The University of Winnipeg by the date of the scholarship deadline which is usually October 1, every year.
