The scholarships are intended to annually support students from low-income Commonwealth countries who are doing very well academically but cannot afford to study in the UK without this financial support. Scholarships are offered under six themes: science and technology for development; strengthening health systems and capacity; promoting global prosperity; strengthening global peace, security and governance; building resilience and response to crises and access, inclusion, and opportunity.

4. Eiffel France Scholarships

The Eiffel Scholarship Program is a scholarship fully funded by the French government that attracts the best foreign students for postgraduate and doctoral training.

5. Erasmus Mundus scholarships
