Description of the scholarship award:

The Vincent-Lemieux scholarship aims to encourage graduate research in the fields of political ideas, public policy, political sociology and comparative politics.

This scholarship is named in memory of Professor Vincent Lemieux for his vital role in the development of political science in Canada and in Quebec.

This annual scholarship of $ 1,000 will be awarded to the student who presented the best dissertation or the best thesis in political science or public affairs between September 1 and August 31 of the previous academic year.

The scholarship will be awarded by decision of the graduate program committee. No application file should be submitted to the committee. The successful candidate will be notified of the committee’s decision at the start of the winter session.

The Financial Aid and Awards Office will check your government assistance file. If we cannot verify your file, we will let you know. In this case, you will have to return to the online request and fill out the needs analysis form afterwards.

If you are an international student who wishes to be admitted to a bachelor’s program, or if you are not seeking assistance from a provincial government or American loans, you must complete the Declaration of Aid and Analysis forms.  Needs before attempting to complete the entry scholarship application. .

If you fill out only the assistance declaration and needs analysis forms without completing and submitting the scholarship application at the last step, your application will be incomplete and you will not be considered for the program. Entrance scholarships.

Students who have not requested government assistance are also invited to apply. In this case, the Declaration of Aid, Needs Analysis and Entrance Grants forms must all be completed.
