We’ve got great news, guys! I’m excited to tell you that TrophyCentral is offering a $1,000 scholarship award to one lucky student through Pickascholarship.com! TrophyCentral would love for qualifying high school seniors who visit this website to be able to fill out an application for this scholarship to help pay for their first year of college or university. How amazing is that? Let’s take a look at everything you need to know about this scholarship opportunity and how to apply.

General Description & Selection Criteria

TrophyCentral is thrilled to award an outstanding high school senior a $1,000 scholarship to be used toward the cost of their first year of school and university. To be considered, an applicant must:

a. be enrolled in an accredited high school in the United States (either public or private); b. have a 3.25 GPA out of 4.0 or equivalent for the first semester of their junior year; c. have demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship, compassion, or kindness; and d. be scheduled to begin college between August/September 2022 and April/May 2023.

Applicants that fit into the following categories will receive additional consideration:

(1) being the first in their family to attend college; (2) enlisting in a branch of the armed forces (for example, ROTC).

Deadlines & Process

The deadline for applications for the current school year is September 2022. By March 2023, we will have completed our thorough examination of all application materials and contacted the successful scholarship recipient. The winning student’s school will receive the scholarship funds instead of the winner themselves.

B. a personal statement from the applicant (no more than 500 words) detailing exceptional acts of sportsmanship or acts of kindness and compassion in support of their application;

C. 1-2 written references that attest to the applicant’s excellence. The applicant must include the full name, mailing address, and phone number of each reference they provide.

D. If applicable, include information about the college you plan to attend, the semester you plan to enroll in, and any other information you feel would help your application. While the subject is wide open, videos should be no longer than 5 minutes, and written materials should be no more than 1-2 pages. All of the above should be emailed to “[email protected]” so that we can review them. The aforementioned details are all that are required; no formal application form is involved. In no more than 14 days, you can expect to get a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your email.
