Eligible Applicants

The ZU CSC Full Scholarship is open to international students who have completed their high school, bachelor’s, or master’s degree and have not obtained a Chinese visa or residence permit before applying. Scholarship Worth

The ZU CSC Full Scholarship covers all the expenses and provides additional benefits for the selected students. The scholarship includes:

  • A tuition waiver for the entire degree program duration, which is four years for bachelor’s, three years for master’s, and four years for doctoral students.
  • A monthly stipend of 2,500 yuan for a bachelor’s, 3,000 yuan for a master’s, and 3,500 yuan for doctoral students is sufficient to cover the student’s living costs and personal expenses.
  • A one-time settlement subsidy of 1,500 yuan for new students, which can be used for purchasing necessities and settling in the campus.
  • A comprehensive medical insurance plan for the students and their accompanying family members covers the costs of basic medical care and treatment in China.
  • A free on-campus accommodation for the students is fully furnished and equipped with internet access, air conditioning, heating, and other facilities.
  • A free Chinese language course for students who need to improve their Chinese proficiency before or during their degree program.

  • Prepare a comprehensive and updated curriculum vitae highlighting their academic achievements, publications, awards, and experiences, as well as their personal and professional skills and interests.
  • Prepare copies of their academic transcripts and diplomas, as well as proof of their language proficiency in English or Chinese, depending on the language of their degree program.
  • Fill out the online application form on the CSC’s website, and upload all the required documents and attachments, including the letter of acceptance and statement of support from their academic supervisor, their study plan, their curriculum vitae, their academic transcripts and diplomas, and their language proficiency certificate.
  • Submit their online application form before the March 31, 2024, deadline for the academic year starting in September 2024.

The applicants will receive an acknowledgment of receipt from the CSC after submitting their online application form. The applicants will then undergo a rigorous and competitive selection process involving an initial screening, an internal review, and a final decision by the CSC. The applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by June 2024 for the academic year starting in September 2024.
