Pursuing a degree in Canada is many people’s dream. Especially students from developing countries. The cost of studying abroad is relatively high for many students thereby making it almost impossible for their study-abroad dreams to come true.

One of such opportunies offered to study abroad is the University of Saskatchewan’s International Excellence Awards for students seeking to study in Canada by 2023.

About The Scholarship

The University of Saskatchewan offers scholarships for international students to study for a bachelor’s degree program. Recipients are eligible to receive the International Student Entrance Award in addition to a Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship. The Saskatchewan International Excellence Awards are also available to foreigners.

International Excellence Awards from the University of Saskatchewan  Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Scholarships are available for international students.
  • Entry Requirements:  The applicant must meet the following criteria:
  • International students (non-Canadian citizens paying differential tuition) entering any direct-entry university at the U of S will be considered for an international student scholarship.
  • Recipients are eligible to receive the International Student Entrance Scholarship in addition to a Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship.
  • Applicants with a first degree from a recognized university and academically talented, disadvantaged based on criteria of disability, socioeconomic status, and are not engaged in work at all or have been engaged in work but were unable to cover the costs of their studies Eligible for the scholarship.
  • Having financial difficulties in financing postgraduate university education and,
  • Have leadership/community experience or potential give back.

English Language Requirements: If English is not your first language, you will need to demonstrate that your English language skills are at a high enough level to be successful in your studies.

How    to Apply for The University of Saskatchewan International Excellence Awards  Programs

By applying online for undergraduate admission, students will be eligible for consideration. The application deadline is February 15. Students must also submit supporting documents, pay the $90 CDN application fee, and meet U of S admission requirements (including English language proficiency) by March 1.
