The YPF Foundation scholarships – Undergraduate Scholarship Program has the general objective of supporting inclusion, promoting the entry, permanence, and graduation of students from careers considered strategic for the energy and technological development of the country.
Its specific objectives include recognizing young people from lower-income households, promoting gender equity in applicable scientific and technological careers, recognizing effort and academic performance at the secondary level, stimulating compliance with the applicable careers within the stipulated deadlines, promoting gender equity in the applicable careers, strengthen the transition between the undergraduate career and the professional and/or academic postgraduate trajectories of the scholarship recipients.
PURPOSE AND RECIPIENTS
To award undergraduate scholarships for students entering the first year of admissible disciplines taught by various public universities of the Argentine Republic in the provinces to which this announcement applies (hereinafter, the “SCHOLARSHIPS”).

DURATION
The duration of the SCHOLARSHIP will be 12 months from its award, with the possibility of renewal according to each scholarship. The SCHOLARSHIPS that are awarded will have a stipend established by the YPF FOUNDATION and will be paid through the mechanisms that are available for that purpose, and the scholarship recipient must carry out the procedures that are necessary to make their collection effective.
AWARDING
The awarding of the SCHOLARSHIPS will be done through a CERTIFICATE signed by all the members of the Selection Committee. The result will be published on the becas.fundacionypf.org.ar website and on the lab.fundacionypf.org.ar website, as well as on the social networks of the YPF FOUNDATION.
NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
The number of SCHOLARSHIPS to be awarded will be subject to the quota available for each of the provinces as determined by the YPF FOUNDATION, according to the enrollment and offer in the eligible careers and the importance for the gas industry and the Petroleum. For this student grant the total quota is 75 SCHOLARSHIPS.
RENEWAL
The YPF FOUNDATION will evaluate the possibility of renewing the SCHOLARSHIP when the requirements stipulated in the REGULATIONS for that purpose are met.
GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR APPLYING FOR A SCHOLARSHIP

IMPORTANT ASPECTS
While the SCHOLARSHIP lasts, the student may not be a beneficiary of other scholarships, except in the case of study abroad scholarships.
Poor performance or non-compliance with the requirements requested by the YPF FOUNDATION may terminate the SCHOLARSHIP before the agreed period. The application is only valid when the Registration online and the sending of the digital information have been carried out in a timely manner.
The decisions of the Selection Committee are final.
Compliance with the formal requirements to apply does not guarantee to obtain the SCHOLARSHIP.
Individual refunds will not be made on your application to applicants who have not benefited from the SCHOLARSHIP on this occasion.
Documentation that arrives directly to the Selection Committee will not be accepted.
Applications submitted incompletely or after the scholarship closes will not be accepted.
