This scholarship offered by the University of New Haven is one of the highly competitive scholarships that grants two types of opportunities for both local and international students who will be commencing their master’s degree at the university,
The university highest achieving graduate students will be offered the assistantship for the students who can work for up to 15-20 hours at the university per week, in a total of 550 total hours per academic year. In return for the assistantship the students will be receiving the following award:

Provost’s Assistantships Categories
- Research Assistantship
The students will help with the aid of the faculty research and will be able to conduct their personal research that will be relevant to the administrative office in relation to the students’ courses.
- Teaching Assistantship
The main responsibility for the assistantship is to include the grading system of the papers, teaching labs, and tutorial opportunities for the undergraduate students.To be considered for this type of assistantship, the students must be able to submit their completed applications. It is important to take note of every deadline of submission to be considered for the program, late and incomplete applications will not be considered for the assistantship program of the university.
Dean Scholarship Program
The International and local students who will be enrolled for the master’s degree will be offered the Dean’s Scholarship. The scholarship will be based on the student’s academic merit and application materials.
- The scholarship program will be providing the successful students 50% reduction towards their tuition fee at the University of New Haven.
To be considered for the scholarship, the students must submit and complete the requirements of this scholarship. late and incomplete applications will not be considered by the university.

All international students whose first language is not the English language must submit the following test scores, as all courses will be thought in the English language it is important that the students have good communication skills in oral and written English.

The University of New Haven University Academic English Preparation Program is comprehensive for academic purposes. It will provide the needs of students who intend to continue their studies at the University of New Haven after completing their Academic English program. intended to prepare students for optimal academic performance, content is specifically tailored to the student’s field or courses, and assistance in adapting to American culture is part of that program. Academic training in English in listening, writing, speaking and reading and other academic study skills is offered to students every 4 months in one semester.
Successful students will be awarded by the University of New Haven a tuition fee reduction, that may be able to help them lessen their financial struggles during their college years.
An hourly wage will be given to the students who wil be selected to the assistantships categories.
The beneficiary of the awards must read and agree to the terms and conditions of the scholarship.
The deadline to complete and submit applications and requirements will be until; March 30, 2022. The second deadline will be on the 1st of May 2022 and November 15, 2022, for the last deadline schedule of submission.
The scholarship will be offered annually for domestic and international students.
