The TC Energy scholarships offer 500 financial support scholarships. The company seeks that young Mexicans can continue with their studies by helping them pay part of their expenses. Since 2018, the company has awarded more than 1,500 scholarships, with a value of more than $28 million pesos. In this way, TC Energy is proud to help build strong communities, develop the next generation of community leaders, and provide a skilled workforce for the energy industry.
ACADEMIC DESTINATIONS
Scholarships are available throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
THE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED UNDER THREE CATEGORIES
1. TC Energy Women’s Scholarship (MX$20,000): offered to women entrepreneurs who seek training in order to obtain jobs relevant to the economic and social needs of their communities. This award will be offered to students aspiring to any higher-level certification, vocational, or technical training program.
2. Scholarship for the Preservation of the Indigenous Culture of TC Energía (MX$20,000): offered to indigenous students or members of indigenous communities who aspire to any technical training, professional degree, or higher-level certification program.
3. TC Energy Training Scholarship (MX$15,000): offered to students enrolled in technical programs at technical institutes, or in professional degree programs that offer employability training in activities relevant to the economic and social needs of the local community.

“The review process of applicants for one of these scholarships is a rigorous process. We take time to review in detail each of the requests we receive. More than rewarding academic performance, we consider the economic needs of the applicants and their involvement as leaders and agents of change in their community”, commented Edna García Malpica, Coordinator of the Program in Mexico.
