About The Helmut Veith Stipend

Source: Vienna University of Technology

The Helmut Veith Stipend was created to give tribute to his legacy Helmut Veith (1971-2016) a brilliant computer scientist. Throughout his career, Vieth has significantly contributed to the various situations and realms in the computer science discipline, computer aid verification, logic in computer science, computer security, and software engineering. His untimely passing back in 2016 has profound loss to the fields which left a void of the remains unfilled. His contribution to the technical realm played a knowledgable significance and his advocacy and mentorship for women in computer science serve as a motivation for the scholarship program.
