The Amazon Native Communities Technical Productive Scholarship – PRONABEC is a contest aimed at young people from indigenous or native peoples of the Pastaza, Tigre, Corrientes, Marañón, and Chambira river basins, located in Loreto.

There are 110 comprehensive scholarships available for training courses in Loreto. The objective is to guarantee the efficient and transparent administration of the stages of the Contest for the granting of the Productive Technical Scholarship for Young People of Indigenous or Native Peoples in Special Situations – Scholarship 2022.

Eligible Higher Education Institutes (HEIs), venues and training courses are public or private Higher Education Institutions, licensed or created by Law, that offer training courses in the department of Loreto, whose educational offer will be developed in the face-to-face modality due to its practical nature in the year 2022 according to the academic calendar of the HEIs, and according to the provisions that are issued in the framework of the health emergency caused by COVID-19.

The Scholarship is made in the area of ​​the indigenous or native peoples of the basins of the Pastaza, Tigre, Corrientes, Marañón, and Chambira Rivers, located in the districts of Andoas, in the Province of Datem del Marañón and the districts of Parinari, Tigre, Trompeteros and Urarinas in the province of Loreto.

BENEFICIARY POPULATION

The Productive Technical Scholarship for Young People of Indigenous or Native Peoples in Special Situations – Scholarship 2022, is intended for Peruvian Citizens:
Who are at least eighteen (18) years of age, at the date of approval of the present bases.

No age limit.

Belonging to the indigenous or native peoples of the basins of the Pastaza, Tigre, Corrientes, Marañón and Chambira Rivers, located in the districts of Andoas, in the Province of Datem del Marañón and the districts of Parinari, Tigre, Trompeteros and Urarinas in the Loreto province.

Both provinces of the Loreto department.

That they have completed at least primary education, in an educational institution of Regular Basic Education or Alternative Basic or Special Basic Education, public or private in the national territory, recognized by the Ministry of Education (MINEDU).
That they have admission to a higher education institution, headquarters, and training course eligible for PRONABEC.

SCOPE OF THE SCHOLARSHIP

The Scholarship is made in the area of ​​the indigenous or native peoples of the basins of the Pastaza, Tigre, Corrientes, Marañón, and Chambira Rivers, located in the districts of Andoas, in the Province of Datem del Marañón and the districts of Parinari, Tigre, Trompeteros and Urarinas in the province of Loreto.

NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS

This Scholarship offers a number of one hundred and ten (110) comprehensive scholarships to continue studies through training courses.

ELIGIBLE INSTITUTIONS, VENUES, AND TRAINING COURSES

Eligible Higher Education Institutes (HEIs), venues and training courses are public or private Higher Education Institutions, licensed or created by Law, that offer training courses in the department of Loreto, whose educational offer will be developed in the face-to-face modality due to its practical nature in the year 2022 according to the academic calendar of the HEIs, and according to the provisions that are issued in the framework of the health emergency caused by COVID-19.

The List of HEIs, venues, and eligible training courses will be determined in accordance with the provisions of article 24 of the Regulations of Law No. 29837, and is approved by the Scholarship Management Office through a Head Resolution of the Scholarship Management Office until one day before the start of the application stage.

DURATION OF THE SCHOLARSHIP

The 2022 Scholarship for the Productive Technical Scholarship for Young People of Indigenous or Native Peoples in Special Situations is granted for a period of up to six (06) months, for training courses with a maximum of six hundred (600) hours. pedagogical

The period of duration is specified in the List of HEIs, venues, and eligible training courses.

The studies are carried out in the face-to-face modality in a schedule of approximately five (5) hours per day, during the year 2022, according to the academic calendar of the HEIs, and according to the provisions that are issued in the framework of the health emergency caused by the COVID-19.

What benefits does the Amazon Native Communities Technical Productive Scholarship – PRONABEC offer?

The Productive Technical Scholarship for Young People of Indigenous or Native Peoples in Special Situations – Scholarship 2022, is a special scholarship financed by the MINEDU through PRONABEC for access, permanence, and completion of training courses, which subsidizes academic and non-academic costs according to the following concepts:
1. Tuition costs, tuition, training course materials, as well as the cost of the certificate issued by the HEIs upon successful completion of the studies.
2. Subsidy for food, lodging (when applicable), local mobility, and stationery.

NOTE: The definition, the detail of each concept to be financed, the procedure, and the requirements for the granting of the subsidy are established in the “Rules for the execution of subsidies for studies in Peru”, approved by the Executive Directorate of PRONABEC.
