Are you a one-year student in any Nigerian university or polytechnic and interested in a scholarship? So the World Scholarship Forum is pleased to inform you about the 202 2 PICFI Scholarships which are currently ongoing.

PICFI Scholarships for Nigerian Students is open to first-year students only.

Candidate interested in PICFI Scholarships for Nigerian Students should submit their application before Monday 22nd June.

To fulfill this vision, PICFI invites qualified and interested Nigerians from federal and state universities to apply for the Undergraduate Scholarship Program.

This scholarship for Nigerian students is run by the Petroleum Industry Christian Fellowship International (PICFI).

Eligible Nationality

Petroleum Industry Christian Fellowship Scholarship (PICFI) is open for Nigerian Students only. Eligibility for PICFI 2023 scholarships

To be eligible for the PICFI scholarship program, you must:

  • Be a freshman of any federal or state university in Nigeria at the time of this application
  • No more than 25 years of age by 31st December 2019
  • Have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 3.5
  • Not be in any other scholarship awarded by other companies or agencies.
  • The application is open to 100-level students only.

How to apply for PICFI 2023 scholarships

Interested and qualified candidates should click here to apply online. But before starting the app. Make sure you have clearly scanned copies of the following documents:

  • Passport photograph with white background no more than 3 months old (450px by 450px no more than 200kb)
  • School ID card
  • O’level certificate (WAEC or NECO)
  • admission letter
  • Birth certificate
  • Proof of home area from local government
  • JAMB Result
  • Short essay – Reason for receiving the scholarship

Follow the steps below to apply:

  • Click on the “Apply Now” tab.
  • Click “Sign Up Now” to create an account.
  • Go to your email box to activate your account
  • Enter your registered email and password to upload your information.
  • Enter your personal information, national identification number (if available), educational information, and other information, and upload the required scanned documents.
  • Make sure that the name used in the application matches the names in all documentation in the same order. Upload an affidavit or certificate if not.
  • Be sure to view all documents after upload to eliminate errors during upload.
  • When you are asked to upload a photo, a passport photograph with a white background is preferred.
  • Double-check the application information to avoid errors
  • Click “Apply Now” to submit information
  • You will receive an email and an SMS confirming that your request was successful.
  • Go back to, enter your email and password to download your profile, and have your Head of Department sign the document.
  • Please upload a scanned copy of the signed profile, this would be used for verification.
  • If the National Identification Number (NIN) number was not previously available, to obtain your National Identification Number (NIN)
    • Visit  to register and learn more about the National Identity Number
    • Click “Create Account” and fill in the required fields
    • Log in with your email and password to complete the form
    • Once complete, schedule a date for photo and fingerprint capture
    • Visit any of the capture centers.   to complete the registration process and obtain your National Identity Number
    • You can also do your full registration at the NIMC office
  • Return to and update the application with the National Identification Number (NIN) to ensure it is complete

PICFI Scholarship Application Deadline 2023

The PICFI Scholarships for Nigerian Student’s deadline to apply is Monday, June 22.

  • Applicants must fill in valid contact details
  • Applicants will be disqualified for incomplete attachments, incorrect information provided, and advertised criteria not met.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit an aptitude test

  • Obtaining a NIN is not mandatory to complete your application
