If the student meets the academic progression standards, the Scholarship will cover half of the tuition charge for each semester of the program. The scholarship is worth roughly NOK 125,000 during the duration of the three-year degree program.

Norway scholarship is a well-known and popular choice for foreign study. Because of its oil and gas reserves, it enjoys the highest level of living and the fourth highest per capita income in the world.

Norway is a member of the Bologna Process, which strives to improve the compatibility of European higher education systems. Norway’s certificates are accepted in many countries across the world. A bachelor’s degree takes three years to finish, two years for a master’s degree, and three years for a PhD.

 

 

About the provider:

In its European Business School Ranking 2021, the Financial Times names BI as Norway’s best business school for the sixth year in a row. Out of the 95 schools that made the list, BI is ranked 50th.

This is one of their year’s most significant rankings since it indicates the quality and scope of their programs.  It is a testament to the hard work that has gone into ensuring that BI has appealing programs that are research-based, learning-oriented, and practice-oriented.

 

 

Scholarship Requirement:

Applicants who apply for, and are accepted in, the Bachelor of Business Administration or the Bachelor of Data Science for Business programme who display above average grades from Upper Secondary School and/or University from a school outside Norway.

 

Application Processes

  • Write a scholarship application letter, maximum one-page, outlining why you are deserving of this scholarship.
  • Upload the scholarship application letter with your complete application for admission on the online application portal under the section ‘Scholarship.’

 

 

Documents required

The goal of BI Norwegian Business School is to attract students from all around the world.

 

  1. BI ensures that scholarships are distributed evenly between the Bachelor of Business Administration and the Bachelor of Data Science for Business programs.
  2. Applicants from specific countries may be given priority.
  3. Transcripts will be used to evaluate all candidates.
  4. Additional academic achievements, extracurricular achievements, and exceptional personal achievements can also influence ranking.
  5. Applicants obtaining their first bachelor’s degree are given priority.

It is not possible to challenge a final ruling.

 

Academic Progression Requirements

  1. Full study progression (30 ECTS) in each semester.
  2. Minimum cumulative GPA of a “B” on the BI ECTS scale after completion of each academic semester.
  3. Candidates who are awarded the Bachelor International Scholarship must be prepared to be “BI Ambassadors”, acting as spokespeople, assisting in recruitment efforts and promoting a good study environment. The details regarding responsibilities will be specified in the Scholarship Contract.

 

 

Admission deadline:

Scholarship applications must be received by 1 March.

 

Scholarship Award

Other Important Things to Note

  1. Although you may apply for multiple scholarships, BI Norwegian Business School will only give one scholarship per student.
  2. This scholarship is not available to international students who are eligible for a standard student loan from the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund.
  3. This scholarship will only be considered for individuals who have been accepted to the Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Data Science for Business program, which will begin in the Autumn of 2022.
