The Lagos State Scholarship Board is the agency in charge of scholarships, bursaries, and other related matters within the state. It grants Scholarships awarded to deserving Indians in various tertiary institutions for full-time study in order to help these students financially.
Scholarship and fellowship awards are only awarded to selected students at basic, secondary, and tertiary institutions based on the recommendation of a selected panel of members from all five state divisions. Applicants for any of these awards must be indigenous to Lagos State
We will divide the application procedures into two categories. These are undergraduate and postgraduate categories.
Undergraduate Scholarship Application 2022
The scholarship is for students at various universities in Nigeria and abroad who are pursuing their bachelor’s programs. The Lagos State Scholarship 2022 will assist those students in paying their fees.

How Much is the Lagos State Undergraduate Scholarship?
The Lagos State Undergraduate Scholarship is worth 200,000 Naira while the Lagos State Undergraduate Scholarship is worth 300,000 Naira.
Scholarship Duration:
Scholarships are renewable for the period of education through graduate I on. Recipients are expected to maintain excellent academic performance and submit a progress report as evidence that they have moved on to the next stage of their program.
Eligibility for Lagos State Undergraduate Scholarship
- All applicants must have completed full-time admission at a recognized Nigerian university.
- All candidates with a Bachelor’s degree:
- me. On a 7.0 MPCG scale (eg University of Ibadan) you should have a minimum of 4.6/7.0.
- ii. If the MPC scale is 5.0 (eg University of Lagos), he/she must have a minimum of 3.5/5.0
- iii. If the MBM scale is 4.0 (for example, colleges and universities), he/she must have a minimum of 3.0/4.0.
- IV. If the applicant is a 200L medical student, options I, ii, and iii apply.
- V. If the applicant is a medical student for an amount of 300 L and whose result requires a minimum credit
- All applicants must be two years of age or older
- All applicants must have completed LASRRA registration.
- All applicants must have a letter of identification signed by their respective Oba.
- All applicants must have a letter of identification signed by their respective local governments.
How To Apply For Lagos State Undergraduate Scholarship
- Applicant must be a Lagos State Indigenous person studying at tertiary institutions across the country
- All applicants are required to make a Payment of N2,000.00 for Local Scholarships through the Lagos State Scholarship Board Revenue Office.
- Then take the payment confirmation receipt to the Lagos State Scholarship Board to secure your secret coupon pins for the online application.
- The request will not be processed without proof of consolidated payment.
- Make sure you fill out the application form correctly and click the “Apply Now” button to complete your application.
- Then secure your Voucher pin at the Scholarship Board office. Thereafter, please make clear copies of the following documents (for undergraduates):

Candidates shortlisted for the qualification test will be invited via email and SMS text messages. Therefore, all applicants are advised to ensure that valid GSM phone numbers and personal email addresses are entered correctly on the electronic portal forms.
How to apply from Scholastica.ng
To apply, follow the steps below :
1. Click on the “Apply Now” tab.
2. Click “Sign Up Now” to create an account.
3. Go to your email box to activate your account.
4. Click on www.Scholastica.ng/ to return to the Scholarship site
5. Enter your registered email and password to upload your information.
6. Enter your personal information, additional information, educational information, and other information and upload the required scanned documents.
7. Make sure that the name used in the applications matches the names in all documentation in the same order. Please upload an affidavit or certificate if not.
8. Make sure to view all documents after upload to eliminate errors during upload.
9. When prompted to upload a photo, upload a passport photo with a white background.
10. Please double-check the application information to avoid mistakes
11. Click “Apply Now” to submit information and provide the secret coupon PIN and LASSRA number in the corresponding column.
12. You will receive an email and an SMS confirming that your request was successful.
13. Go back to www.scholastica.ng, enter your email and password to download your profile and have your Head of Department sign the document.
14. Upload a scanned copy of the signed profile, this would be used for verification.
15. Keep the hard copy of the signed profile, this would also be used for verification.
16. Go back to www.Scholastica.ng and update the application with the National Identification Number (NIN) to ensure it is complete.
To secure your voucher PIN, go to the Lagos Scholarship Board office, 254 Ipaja road, Agege, Lagos and show them your payment confirmation receipt. Note: Multiple applications attract a penalty of disqualification from the Scholarship Board.
Lagos State Postgraduate Scholarship
The Lagos State Scholarship Board is the leading organization for scholarships and related matters within the state. It awards scholarships to deserving students at various universities for full-time study. Financially support these students.
Eligibility for Lagos State Postgraduate Scholarship
- All applicants must have completed a full-time postgraduate degree (master’s or Ph.D. ) from a recognized Nigerian college.
- All postgraduate candidates (applies only to candidates for a master’s program):
- me. If the MPC scale is 7.0 (for example, the University of Ibadan), it must have been reduced to basic education with a minimum of 4.6 / 7.0.
- ii. If the MPC scale is 5.0 (eg University of Lagos), he/she must have a minimum of 3.5/5.0 at the basic level.
- iii. If the MBM scale is 4.0 (for example, colleges and universities), he/she must have a minimum of 3.0/4.0.
- IV. If the candidate has obtained a higher degree in Higher National Diploma (HND), he must provide proof of successful completion of his postgraduate degree (PID).
- All applicants with a postgraduate degree (applies only to doctoral candidates):
me. If the candidate has a below-average bachelor’s level, he must be a distinguished Master
- All applicants must be 1-2 years old or older (admitted no later than the 2022/2022 academic session).
- All applicants must have completed LASRRA registration.
- All applicants must have a letter of identification signed by their respective Oba.
